Answering All of Your Dental Questions

We hope you’ll find the answers you’re looking for on our frequently asked questions page, and if you don’t, please contact us right away. We are always happy to help you make well-informed decisions for your oral health!
How often do you recommend patients visit Young Dental?
The Young Dental team recommends patients visit us at least two times each year for a dental checkup and teeth cleaning appointment. These visits give us the opportunity to help patients optimize their oral health and keep their smiles healthy for a lifetime.
Are kids welcome in your Bellingham dental office?
Our family dentistry office welcomes patients of all ages. That includes kids. Dr. John Young, Dr. Lindsey Montileaux, and the whole team love working with young patients, and we have years of experience that allows us to ensure kids are safe and comfortable in our office.
What are All-on-X dental implants?
All-on-X is a unique dental implant denture system that utilizes 4 implants to restore a whole set of teeth. We use this treatment when it’s time for a fresh start with a whole new set of very stable teeth. The implants are spaced in a way that ensures the set of teeth have a stable base, much like the stability from a 4-legged stool. At Young Dental, we offer the necessary sedation (General Anesthesia with Dr. Pfeiffer) and implant placements and fitting for the new teeth all in the same place.
Can you help if I get nervous at the dentist?
In addition to offering patients gentle, attentive dentistry services that put them at ease, we are also happy to provide all levels of sedation dentistry. We offer local anesthesia, nitrous oxide and oral conscious. With the help of Dr. Peter Pfeiffer, we’re even able to provide safe, effective general anesthesia (sleep dentistry).
Do you take my dental insurance?
We are happy to process and file dental insurance claims for most major providers. Our knowledgeable dental team can maximize benefits to ensure our patients always receive the care they need within their budget.
