Every team member in our Bellingham dental office has completed necessary education and training, maintains certifications, and most importantly, goes above and beyond to offer gentle dental care. Kay, Administrative Assistant

Kay has over 47 years of experience and has been a member of our team since 2008. She loves working with people, and she works hard to make sure that patients are taken care of during their time in our office. When she's not at work, Kay enjoys time with family, friends and especially her granddaughter. She also enjoys cooking, reading, movies, traveling and being involved with the community. 

Kim, Administrative Assistant

While you may not always see Kim because she is only in the office two days a week, she has been in the dental field since 1979. During Kim's career in dentistry, she has experience both as a chairside dental assistant and in dental practice management. Kim enjoys assisting patients with obtaining their dental needs. Her love of dentistry and the interaction with patients is what has kept her in the dental field her entire career. She feels extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to work with such great co-workers and be a part of the Moreno & Young Dental team. Kim and her husband, Gene, have two grown sons. Outside of the office, you will find Kim gardening, traveling, enjoying and maintaining her salt water reef tank, or working to perfect her photography.

Tami, Administrative Assistant

After working the front desk at a Real Estate office, Tami decided to give the dental field a try in 2011. She enjoys working the front desk which allows her to work with people both in person and on the phone. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dog, writing, reading, and meeting with her book club on a monthly basis.  She also enjoys lots of family time and spending time with her two grandkids

Heather, Office Manager

As a child, Heather had the most amazing dentist which made her decide to go into dentistry. She graduated from Clover Park Technical College in 1993 and has over 25 years of dental assisting, front office management, and insurance claims experience. Heather has two children, a son Tyler, and a daughter Madison. In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves the outdoors, rain or shine, and is always up for a good hike regardless of the weather.

Maria, Registered Dental Hygienist

Maria is our “token Canadian” dental hygienist. She started her career in 2000 working as a Certified Dental Assistant for over 7 years, specializing in children and adults with special needs. After completing her education at the University of Toronto, Canada in 2009, she became a dental hygienist. She has a passion for helping people, whether locally or overseas on dental mission trips.

Maria keeps active with snowboarding, playing volleyball, or just running her two daughters back and forth. The “glass half full attitude” is how she likes to approach life and care for her patients.

Brittany, Dental Hygienist

Brittany has been a dental hygienist since 2008 and received her degree in Dental Hygiene from upstate New York where she is originally from. Providing gentle but thorough care to her patients is a top priority. Brittany moved to Bellingham in 2011 to be closer to the family. She likes to hike, ski, read, and travel.

CRAIG, DENTAL HYGIENIST

Craig may be relatively new to our practice, but he has more than eight years of experience in the world of dentistry. For him, helping patients improve their oral health is one of the most rewarding aspects of his job. After high school, he attended WWU and BTC for his studies. Some of his favorite things to do outside the office are hiking, gardening, golfing, and learning new skills and trades. Here’s an interesting fact about him: he has a big sweet tooth!

Bethany, Certified Dental Assistant

Bethany has been a dental assistant with Moreno & Young Dental since 2011. Beth attended the accredited dental assisting program at Bellingham Technical College and graduated top of her class. She enjoys the variety of daily dental procedures and building patient relationships. Beth looks forward to a great dental career and is always seeking new knowledge and experience with continuing education. Outside of work, Beth enjoys traveling, especially to tropical places, and spending time with friends and family.

Olivia, Dental Assistant

Olivia joined the Moreno & Young Dental team after having the opportunity to work as a temp in the summer of 2012. She brought over 16 years of experience and the goal to help people in our community find comfort and relief, in and out of the dental office. She finds enjoyment in getting to know patients, enabling them to have a comfortable experience and helping some overcome lifelong fears. When Olivia is out of the office, she enjoys road trips and traveling to visit friends and family all over the states, with her husband Gabriel. She has a love of a good laugh, fresh air, and a great trust in a better future.

GURPREET, DENTAL ASSISTANT

With nearly a decade of experience under her belt, Gurpreet joined our team in May of 2021. She chose to complete her studies at WCC and BTC. Not only is she CPR certified, but she also continues to pursue additional training whenever she can. For her, the best part of her job is assisting our doctors in saving teeth! In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, going on long walks, and being outdoors. Here’s something you may not know about her: she speaks Punjabi.
